Prototypes

Many of my favorite problems are "weird" and there's nothing weirder than when an ideal software solution encounters the less-than-ideal real world: real gravity, real people, weather, temperature, unexpected input.
This is one of the reasons that I've enjoyed workings in art and theatre where the conditions are unpredictable and "the show must go on."
- What does it mean to turn actors into cameras or bodies into projectors? How do you design for a novel experience or guide people through an encounter that is totally unexpected?
- What happens when you control lights with your voice or create scenography out of glitch?
- Can you introduce children to computational concepts using animatronic robots?
- What happens when immersive VR encounters the physical world?
